Angus Noble

Angus is founder of Noble Design, an industrial design team innovating new products for customers in a wide range of industries.

Before moving into product design, Angus was a professional advertising photographer for over 17 years running his studio in Bristol in the UK.

His background and passion for photography, combined with his product design experience, has led him to develop some innovative film camera designs for his own use and for other photographers.

Angus has always been responsible for manufacturing everything he has designed. From yachts to bicycles he has had to turn the ideas into real products on the shop floor. These constraints feed back into the design process continually. Aesthetic and manufacturing considerations are all dealt with simultaneously, so the design evolves naturally to its conclusion. Form, function and production all come together in a holistic way that he calls “Art in Engineering”.
